Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on the A49 Tarporley near to Birchheath Road.
At 6.23pm on Friday 28th November a Ford Mondeo collided with an Ineos Grenadier.
The driver of the Mondeo, a 56-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
DS Iain Condliffe of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said:
“I’d urge anyone who witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken to police or has dash cam that may help our investigation to contact us.”
