The brand new Queen's School podcast which will feature topics relevant to all parents.
A Chester school has launched a brand new podcast aiming to provide discussion and insight into a variety of topics relevant to parents across the board.
The Queen’s School has released the first episode this week and the series will run fortnightly during term time with two bonus episodes during the summer holidays.
Whatever school a child attends, parents often have the same sort of queries, interests or concerns and these are the areas that the Queen’s staff aim to provide their opinions and advice.
Topics set to feature include the benefits of outdoor learning, helpful tips for parents to avoid summer learning loss, futureproofing your daughter, the transition to school and why it’s natural to have conflicting emotions and things to consider when choosing your school.
The first episode is with Headmistress of The Queen’s School, Mrs Sue Wallace-Woodroffe, who focusses on 'overcoming the myths and misconceptions of single sex education'.
She said: "We hope that all parents find the chosen topics for discussion interesting and useful for them whether they have sons or daughters and regardless of their chosen school. We are proud of our fabulous staff at Queen's who are all experts in their field and we felt this was a new way of us being able to put their knowledge and expertise to good use and provide something that parents will benefit from.
“We aim to provide a wide range of discussion points so that there will be something for everyone and I am very excited to see it all come to fruition."
