Chester Football Club has announced the passing of former Chairman, David Harrington-Wright.
David passed away peacefully this morning at the age of just 57, following a long and brave battle with cancer.
Formally elected to the Board in October 2017, David took over in the role as Chairman in April 2018 and oversaw a significant period of stability and revival for the Club.
He stepped down from the role in April 2020 but his support of the club remained, regularly keeping in touch with those in and around Chester FC and attending games when he could.
We’d like to extend our deepest sympathies to David’s family and all of his friends.
Funeral details will be communicated in due course for all those who wish to pay their respects.
We’ll never forget you, Dave. Rest in Peace.
