Recently there has been a slight increase in the number of calls we are getting about Rogue Traders.
|
Rogue Traders are a bit like Cold Callers. They will knock on your door and say that work needs to be completed urgently. They will give you a quote complete the work and then say it cost them more so the quote will increase dramatically in price. We have had some reports where people have asked Traders to come and quote for a job. They have turned up and pretended to complete the work and charged ridiculous money. Never agree to anything on the spur of the moment. Always take 10 minutes to have a think about it. If you do need any work completing ask a Friend or Family member if they know anyone that can complete the work that is trustworthy.
