North Wales Police have had a small increase in calls relating to Rogue Traders in the Flintshire area.
Rogue Traders will normally turn up at an address uninvited and give a "on the spot" quote for work which they will claim is urgent. In other cases Rogue Traders will turn up at an address and immediately begin to carry out work and then demand payment.
If someone attends your property offering work always be cautious.
Never agree to anything on the spur of the moment.
Always take 10 minutes to have a think about it.
If you do need any work completing ask a Friend or Family member if they know anyone that can complete the work that is trustworthy.
